Well a hacking group named "Lizard Squad" has claimed responsibility for an outage that affected several social media websites, including Facebook, Instagram and Tinder.
The sites were affected across desktop, mobile and tablet platforms with users taking to other social networks to decry the downtime.

But Mark Zuckerberg's Facebook, which also owns Instagram denied they were ever hacked and blamed the outage on 'a change that affected our configuration systems'.
