Jaylen Ray Fryberg I earlier reported about a student who opened fire in a high school
cafeteria north of Seattle (Read here) has been identified as 15 year old Jaylen Ray Fryberg who shot at friends at the cafeteria of Marysville-Pilchuck High School before turning the gun on himself. Witnesses said the gunman,named locally as Jaylen Ray Fryberg stood on a table in the cafeteria and opened fire at a close range at around 10;40am on friday.Fryberg who is a native American from the local Tulalip Tribtes then turned the gun on himself. Jaylen was reported to be angered by a dispute over his girlfriend,his cousin 16 year old Heaven Arbuckle had these to say about him......... ''He was heartbroken and didn't know what to do.Jaylen wasn't a bad kid,he just made a mistake,'' adding that the shooting was over a girl,she said Fryberg shot their other cousins Nate and Andrew. Other students said Fryberg had given no inkling of what was to come when he trained as a normal kid on Thursday with the School American Football squad. The White House confirmed that President Barack Obama has been briefed. Officials at Providence Regional Hospital said that the four victims,two young females and males had arrived via road ambulance with gunshot wounds. Three had wounds to the head and are in critical condition,the fourth victim a 14 year old boy was transferred to another hospital in Seattle where he is in intensive care in serious condition.

According to his accounts on Twitter and Facebook,Fryberg also wrestled and was a keen hunter,proudly posting pictures of himself with deer that he had earlier shot in order to bring home meat to the elders,an important part of tribal culture. He was pictured on his site holding a hunting rifle given to him as a birthday present but it is been understood these is not the weapon used in the attack,see the picture of him with the rifle below.......

Other students described Fryberg as a popular boy,being voted freshman homecoming earlier these month. His final tweet on October 23 says ''it wont last.....it ll never last. Hope the wounded ones recover.
