Nigeria football is believed to be unfortunately heading into a long dark tunnel as far as the football governing body is concerned, FIFA is set to wield the big stick on Monday 27th October 2014 against the most populous black nation on earth. The Super Eagles who still have two games in hand and a hope of qualifying for the 2015 African Cups of Nations to defend their crown, even the Golden Eaglets who are the reigning world champions of the world, who are ready to compete at the African Championship to be eligible to travel to chile to be able to defend their title, would these young lads dreams be dashed at the expense of the NFF? On Saturday in Windhoek,Namibia the CAF President Issa Hayatou revealed to Nigeria's Sport Minister Tammy Danagogo that the world football governing body was fed up with the happenings in the NFF. In Hayatou's words ''I had to plead passionately with FIFA President, Sepp Blatter not to take action against Nigeria on friday, because Nigeria was in the final of the African Women Championship and a ban on the country would have been bad for the competition and our sponsors,We all heard the news of the court ruling on Thursday, and the football world is very angry with Nigeria''. The FIFA letter that was sent to the federation before the election of September 30 which stated clearly that an automatic suspension awaits should there be any interference with the political process, and after the election went ahead,we all thought you had settled your issues. Hayatou who said he appealed to FIFA to give Nigeria until Monday to get its act together, also stating that they are over 50 National Associations across Africa, but a big county like Nigeria is the one always giving us the biggest headache. It is believed that FIFA President and CAF President,as well as other National Associations and NFFs partners and political leaders around the world had congratulated Amaju Pinnick following his victory at the September 30 elections. NFF should please resolve these issue and stop playing the future of our football for we all know Nigeria is a football loving Nation and the idea of those boys not going to Chile would kill some of their dreams. Stop playing with Nigerian Football.
