List Of MTV Awards Winners And Photos.

They came, they saw and they conquered. Stars stepped out at the Nokia Theatre, Los Angeles, USA, to celebrate performances in a host of fun categories ranging from Best Fight Scene to the Best Shirtless performance.



Best Male Performance; Actor Bradley Cooper took home the award for the role in the film American sniper (2014).

                                                                                                                                                              Best Female Performance; Actress Shailene Woodley accepts the award for her role in the film Fault in the stars (2014). The film also won Woodley the award for the best Kiss along with co-star Angel Elgort (who was unable to attend the show). Woodley's third was MTV Trailblazer award.

                       

Best Scared-As-S**t Performance; Actress/singer Jennifer Lopez takes home the award for her role in the film The Boy Next Door (2015).

 

Other Winners include Best Comedic Performance; Channing Tatum accepts the award for his role in the film 22 Jump Street (2014).

BEST DUO

Dave Franco (left) and Zac Efron took home the gong for their role in the film Neighbors (2014).  

BEST SHIRTLESS PERFORMANCE

Actor Zac Efron, who introduced the band Fall Out Boy onstage with model Emily Ratajkowski, took home the award for Best Shirtless Performance for his role in the film Neighbors (2014).

MTV GENERATION AWARD

Actor Robert Downey Jr. took home the MTV Generation Award. 

COMEDIC GENIUS

TV host Jimmy Kimmel (Far-L) presented actor Kevin Hart (Far-R) the Comedic Genius Award. Hart accepts the award with his kids Hendrix (L) and Heaven (R). 

MOVIE OF THE YEAR

John Green (C) along with the cast and crew of accept the award for the film The Fault in Our Stars (2014).

BEST MUSICAL MOMENT

Jennifer Lawrence, who was unable to attend the ceremony, took home the award for her role in the film The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part I (2014). 

BEST ON-SCREEN TRANSFORMATION

Elizabeth Banks took home the award for her role in The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part I (2014).

BEST HERO

Dylan O'Brien, who was unable to attend the ceremony, won the award for his role in the film The Maze Runner (2014). O'Brien's role in this film also won him the award for Breakthrough Performance.

BEST VILLAIN

Veteran Meryl Streep won the award for her role in the film Into the Woods (2014).

BEST WTF MOMENT

Seth Rogen (L) and Rose Byrne took home the award for Neighbors (2014).

  

BEST FIGHT

Dylan O'Brien (L) and Will Poulter (R) won the gong for their fight in the film The Maze Runner (2014).
