Nigeria are set to play The Red Devils tomorrow in a must win match if they ate to qualify for AFCON 2015 even though the venue of the tournament is yet to be determined by CAF. The Super Eagles who would welcome back in form Villarreal Striker Ike Uche who makes a return to the national team side after been left out of the team for 21 months by coach Stephen Keshi.
The Villarreal striker said
“I am very happy to be back in the team and I thank my fans and football loving Nigerians for the support they gave before I rejoined the team.
I am resolute and ready to contribute my quota to ensure the Eagles emerge victorious in Congo.”
“I am a team player and I will play with my colleagues to achieve victory against Congo, although it will be very tough because [the Red Devils] are a very tough team but we will work hard to win.”
The African champions landed in hot soup after losing to losing their first game at home to their hosts before putting up a lackluster performance in Khartoum against Sudan to return home empty-handed.
